We Bought Our First House!

So on June 5th, my birthday for those who dont already know, me and Chris closed on a house. The house we were living in was super old, and had no insulation, no room for a baby, and we had spiders. So when we found out we were having a baby, I told Chris we had to get out. I didn't care exactly where, but much nicer than there and before the baby was born. So we shopped around and bought a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house. We Love It! I took some pics today during my lunch, and I forgot to turn the flash on so some of them are a little fuzzy, but I will take better pics and post more next week. Chris has taken the initiative to decorate the house and move all the furniture where it looks good. So, most of the decorating is thanks to Chris.

Yes that is a high chair, wont need one for a while, but its still good to have one ready right?

This is Chris's work, he rearranged the furniture and put the flowers up and basically is respsonsible for this room looking so good! I love it!

I love the shower curtain and the towels!!

We have this little space in the hallway that we didnt know what to do with, so Chris hung this shelf, and put up all the pictures and what not to make it look super nice! Way to go hubby!

7 months and moving along

So i am finally at 30 weeks, which is right around 7 months. I have a bit more time to go, but everything is looking good. The Dr. says everything looks good, baby is good, so I am happy about that. I do have some pics to post but I have not yet uploaded them, but maybe one day I will. These days the baby moves a whole ton, its so fun to rest my hand on my stomach and just feel him move around. Most of his moving happens right at bedtime and early hours of the morning, which is fine, I am figuring out his sleeping patterns. I am so excited to be a mom and to have a baby and show him off to the world...Not too much longer and everyone will be able to see what he looks like!!!

GREAT BIG NEWS!

So I have been waiting a while before I really tell the world, but I think its ok for me to say something now...I'M GONNA BE A MOMMY!!! Yeppers! I am due sometime early in September. I go in for my first appointment on Tuesday (March 4th) to hear the heartbeat. Not sure when I will get an ultrasound...I want one soon, I wanna see my peanut! Me and Chris are so excited to be parents. We don't care what we have, just as long as we get a healthy little bundle of joy. I will keep everyone up-dated on how things go and I will try to remember to put up pictures so everyone can see how we are doing! :) YAY for the good news!

One Year Mark

So me and Chris are coming up on our one year anniversary (Jan. 27) and we are staying at a place called the Anniversary Inn. It has some of the most amazing rooms! We are staying in the Swiss Family Robinson room Saturday night and then we change rooms and we are staying in the Player's Clubhouse room Sunday night. Player's Clubhouse has a mini golf thing to putt on! I will for sure take lots of pictures but I wanted to share this with everyone!

Hello!

So Brette is converting everyone over to blogging! Well, I have been married for almost one year, our anniversary is Jan. 27. And I love being married! We live in Smithfield Utah in a very old house but we love it. We don’t have any kids, or any on the way, but we have 2 furry kids, our cats, Cosmo and Diggs. They are so much fun. Life is good right now for us, I work at Utah State University as a Staff Assistant and Chris works at Schiebers making cheese and he LOVES it…he is so weird, but that is why I married him.
